Héliora is inspired by the great Greek divinities: elora is Greek for "light". In Occitan, it means "sunbeam" or "sparkling light". It's inspired by the goddess Hemera, in ancient Greek Ἡμέρα, the goddess of day, sister of celestial light. As well as Helios, god of the Sun at its zenith, and Hera, protector of women.
She symbolizes the radiance and beauty of Venus. 
The scarab reigns over the House of Héliora.
